Hi everyone, I just wanted to update you guys on the situation with shipping and the bat wing sweaters.  So far, I have been able to mail out 167/202 fulfillable packages.  I am still missing 6 reward surveys, so please let me know if you haven't gotten a survey or if you're having trouble accessing it.  I really want to get your reward to you.  

Some of the bat wing sweaters arrived.  Sizes XS-XL are all available.  Unfortunately, 2XL and 3XL are delayed in the mail system.  Two boxes are in Asia, and two boxes are in Anchorage, AK.  We've been on the phone with UPS trying to figure it out, but nobody can give us a delivery date.  If the sweater you wanted is one of these sizes, your package will likely (hopefully) be going out next week. 

We will also be sending out all international packages next week.  They have to be sent the same day that the label is printed, and at the moment, we are getting ready for Anthrocon this weekend (come say hi if you are going, by the way!)

Hopefully the next time I send out an update, it will be to say that all of the packages are in the mail!

Plush are here!!!

It's the update that everyone has been waiting for--the plush have arrived!  The house is now a chaotic box city that we will be working to clear out and move to storage.

We are now moving ahead to fulfillment, and will be sending out as many packages a possible in the next few days.  For those of you waiting on bat sweaters, we should be getting those before the end of next week.  We will be away for a convention from Jun 30-Jul 3, so we will have to wait on sending out the bat wing sweater orders until after next weekend.  Thank you all for your patience, and we look forward to sending your rewards to you!

Plush arriving!

Hey everyone, I can finally give you all the update you've been wanting--plush are arriving this week!  We've received word that our shipment cleared customs, and they should be arriving either Tuesday or Wednesday.  Things will move fast once the plush arrive--we've hired helpers so that we can get all of your packages in the mail as fast as possible.  To that end, please double check your address on your survey!  Once we start packing rewards, we will be locking addresses, and you will not be able to change them.

For those of you waiting on bat wing sweaters, we have good news about them too.  They finished production on Friday, and will be shipping out this week.  the sweaters will be air mailed, so they should hopefully be here in the next couple of weeks.  

We are still missing 7 survey responses.  If you have not filled out your survey, please do so as soon as possible.  We want to get your rewards to you!

Thank you all for your incredible patience.  Manufacturing is complicated nowadays, and we appreciate your understanding.  We will update you again when the plush are here.

Hi everyone.  I'm sorry that it's been a while since my last update.  I wanted to make sure I had information to give you before I made it.  I've got good news and frustrating news, unfortunately.  After a lot of back and forth with my pin manufacturer, I finally have all of the pins in hand.

 I am about to leave for a convention this weekend, and when I come back, I will be grading, packing, and mailing out as many of the pin only packages as possible.  The pins took a while to get to us because the city where the factory is located in China is currently under strict lockdown.  This brings me to the less good news.  Plush production is complete and has been sent to port to begin their journey by boat to me.  Because of lockdowns, however, there is a backup in cargo shipments from China.  Theoretically, the plush should make it to me within 60 days, after which, I will be able to fulfill all of the packages.  This is as much information as I have at the moment.  I do not know exactly when they will arrive beyond "sometime within 60 days".  I wish I could be more transparent, but this is unfortunately the reality of product making during pandemic times.  I will do my best to provide you with information as I get it.

If you have not, please fill out your Backerkit survey (we are still missing a few responses).  This will help us to get your rewards out ASAP once the plush arrive.  Thank you all for your patience.

Manufacturing update

Hi everyone, just a small update about where all the goods are in terms of manufacturing.  Plush should be wrapping up around the end of this month, then will begin their long boat ride to us.  Pins will also be finishing up this month, and the factory has provided me with a few preview images of them:

Bat wing sweaters should finish up in early April.  They require a little extra time because the cuff material needs to be specially dyed in order to get the right shade of purple.

I have gotten a bunch of questions about changing addresses, and I want to address here that you will be able to update addresses up until we lock them, which will be after we receive products to start fulfilling all of the packages.  As long as you have your survey link, you will be able to update your address.  I will update you all again once we start receiving some of the rewards.  Fingers crossed, everything is still coming in on schedule.
